Hi I'm, Mike, the 1a auto we've been selling auto parts for over 30 years, hi everyone. So here at 1a auto and today on our own three tundra we're going to show you how to check your coolant level in your overflow tank. And when and when not to check your radiator fluid out of the hot tank, you need any parts for your car click on the link below and head on over to 1a auto calm hood. Release on this tundra is located on the driver side right at the knee. Pail has a picture of the hood, pull on the cable.
So. The safety latch is located to the left of the symbol, you'll feel the lever right there. You push up on it lift your head up.
So this is the overflow tank for this particular vehicle. And there are no markings for a low or high, or sometimes it says, cold or hot. So what I would go by is the depth of this I would go by this crease. They have right here in that tank and I would say, that's supposed to be hot.
So when a vehicle is cool engines, hot, the cool is going to be higher it expands. And when it's cold. It's going to be down low. So if this vehicle has been sitting for a long time, and it's down here, that's perfect, that's, right? What should be donen't? Add if it's empty, the tank is empty, you need to add and more than likely. You have a leak only open the radiator cap when the engine has been sitting for several hours, and it's cold, push down.
And twist it's got these notches and lift. If you look in there, the fluid is red. And that is a factory color for this vehicle, and it looks nice and clean I. Can you. Can use a hydrometer tester to test that.
But on this particular model, we're doing a visual test. Thanks for watching visit us at one arrow, comm for quality auto parts fast and free shipping and the best customer service in the industry.
